Womens Day Celebration

62 ladies participated along with all staff members. The children of selected beneficiaries were asked to write letters to their mother, small children were videographed speaking about their mothers. The husbands of few staff members were asked to write a note. These were read out by students and staff. most mothers were very emotional to hear what they meant to their children.

A brief talk was given by Vaishali on the meaning of Women's day.

Both male teachers were asked to cut a cake and serve, other staff members helped. This led to lot of amusement and happiness among the ladies, specially to see the initial awkwardness in the men.

Many ladies expressed that they had heard about Mahila Diwas, but did not know the meaning till today.

Few ladies know their year but not date of birth. They discussed and came up with using 8th March as their date of birth.
