Ganpati Festival Home Visits 2019 - Dahisar

Ganesh Chaturthi also called Vinayaka Chaturthi,is the Hindu festival held on the birthday of the lord Ganesha.It is celebrated all over India. Lokmanya Tilak started this festival during British time, to gather people and unite them.The festival is held on Shukla Chaturthi in the Hindu month of Bhaadrapada and ends on Anant Chaturdashi which normally falls in the month of August or September.During this festival people pray to Lord Ganesha with great devotion.It is a ten day festival.In these ten days people keep Ganesha’s idol in homes, or publicly in big pandals (temporary stage).On this occasion women make special "modaks" which are loved by Lord Ganesha.The staff of Hamaara Sapna – Dahisar visited beneficiaries’ homes.The staff enjoyed every visit and took the blessing of Lord Ganesha.Family members expressed love and affection towards Hamaara Sapna staff.It is amazing to see the efforts that are taken by family members to welcome  Lord Ganesha and do all  Pujas and beautiful decorations with so much love and devotion.
